What is SOC 2?

SOC 2 is an independent security audit framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It evaluates how a company handles data across five areas: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. Type II certification — which Express Wages holds — means our controls were tested over an extended period, not just at a single point in time.

What does this mean for your data?

Your personal and financial information is protected by the same standards used across the financial services industry. That includes how your data is stored, who can access it, and how we respond if something goes wrong. We don't sell your data.
