What is remainder pay?

Remainder pay is the part of your paycheck that's left after any early transfers are deducted.

When you transfer some of your earned wages early, that amount comes out of your next paycheck. What's left — your remainder pay — is paid to you as usual on payday, through your employer's normal payroll.

So if you transferred part of your pay early, your remainder pay is simply the rest of it, arriving on your regular payday.
