How to Keep Your Information Safe

Whether it’s your phone PIN, email password, or banking credentials, your online security matters—and your Express Wages account is no exception. Since it contains personal and financial information, it’s important to protect it.

To help, here’s a quick security checklist and some practical tips to keep your account safe.

When and Why to Change Your Password

Your password is your first line of defense. If you notice suspicious activity in your account—or if you believe your login details may have been compromised—change your password immediately.

Here’s how to do it in the Express Wages:

  1. Go to Profile
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap on your details and select Password to update it

Keep Your Contact Info Updated

If you ever forget your password, we’ll use the email or phone number on your account to verify your identity. To avoid delays, make sure your contact information is always up to date.

Your Data is Encrypted

Express Wages uses built-in data encryption to protect your information—including payment details. Even if someone gains access to your account, your card data remains hidden and secure.

Smart Security Tips

Even with strong security in place, there are steps you can take to stay safe:

  • Don’t share your login credentials or device with others
  • Be cautious of emails asking for personal info—contact our support team directly if you’re unsure
  • Always cover your screen when entering your password in public
  • Use different passwords for different accounts; consider a password manager
  • Use long passphrases with a mix of letters, numbers, symbols, and spaces

Quick Checklist to Keep Your Account Safe

  • Use a strong, unique password (10+ characters, mixed symbols and letters)
  • Only log in via https://expresswages.com
  • Keep your device and browser updated
  • Run anti-virus software if using a shared or public computer
